Natsuki tells Shu'uya she wants to help him, but he rejects the offer.
Kentaro gets frustrated as Natsuki is very sympathetic to Shu'uya. He asks her to forget about the ring he was going to give her. Natsuki agrees.
Natsuki sees a newspaper article about the winning victory of her university's baseball team. In fact, the article was what Shu'uya brought from the future. The baseball team wins the game and Natsuki finds that out.
Shu'uya calls Natsuki and asks her to meet him at a monument on campus, knowing that there will be a thunderstrike there at the very moment they meet. There, Shu'uya tells her everything he did and what happens in the future. Even if Mami is saved from her sickness she can't escape from death. Shu'uya thinks the person who holds the key to Mami's life is Kentarou, and needed to break up Natsuki and Kentarou.
Knowing how hard Shu'uya has been trying to save his sister, Natsuki is more sympathetic to him. She even cries for him.
The thunder strikes. On the spur of the moment Shu'uya saves Natsuki. He can't kill her.
