Time Spiral Ep.1 (Gackt and Meisa)

This is an eight-episode series, and each episode lasts for less than half an hour.  I felt the story is a bit strange, and acting/scripts a bit awkward.  This might be because it's still not clear what "a time spiral" is.  According to the drama synopsis, Gackt is supposed to be a "lonely time traveler", but in this episode, he is a manipulative man who travels back in time to gain his own benefit.  I have no idea how "love" can start under such circumstances.

Natsuki (played by Kuroki Meisa) is a research assistant in physics at a university.  She and Kentarou (played by Hiraoka Yu'uta) are friends for 20 years.  She thinks of him as a good friend, but he thinks of her as the person he loves.  He's been waiting for a chance to confess his feelings.

15 years ago, Natsuki was kidnapped because the kidnappers mistook her as Kentaro.  Ever since then, she gets into a panic when she faces a drastic situation.  Kentaro feels sorry for Natsuki.  He wants to protect her.

Tatsumi Shu'uya

She happens to meet Tatsumi Shu'uya (played by Gackt).  Natsuki finds that Tatsumi has the same taste in music.  Strange things start to happen after she meets him.....  Although Natsuki cancelled a dinner with Kentarou, Kentarou insists that he didn't see her or heard about cancelling the dinner.....  When Natsuki goes back home, she finds her room being ransacked.

All those things seem to have been done by Tatsumi Shu'uya.  He's trying to split up Natsuki and Kentaro so that he can have her.  He goes back in time to change certain things that happened.
