Kuroki Meisa plays Aizawa Natsuki who was kidnapped when she was a kid. She has a trauma from that incident and has been relying on her friend Hiraoka Yu'uta played by Yu'uki Kentaro. She is a physics student who studies under Prof. Tatsumi Shu'uya played by Gackt. The professor is a lonely time traveler.
This drama is based on a web novel, Hodokeru Rasen (Unraveling Spiral) by Mizumori Eren. You can read the novel here.
According to the drama staff blog, the drama scenes were shot in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Shizuoka, Ibaragi, and Yamanashi in 3 weeks, and the shooting finished in early July (or late June). They are now editing the scenes. As of Aug. 4, the first 3 episodes were edited already.
This drama will have 8 episodes.
