Petero No Souretsu Ep.9

We know more about the bus-jacker, but still don't know why he did it or for what.  Is "evilness" spreading?  Are those who were involved in the bus-jacking getting bad?

(spoiler)

Hayakawa Tae
Hayakawa Tae is talking, but she shuts her mouse every time the name, Mikuriya, is mentioned.  (Mikuriya was one of the high-ranking person in the scamming organization.)

Hada and Hayakawa
She and the bus-jacker, Hada Mitsuaki were childhood friends, and kept in touch until his death.  She tells about the unlucky and unhappy childhood of Hada.  After setting up the Nissho Frontier with Mikuriya, Hada made a lot of money scamming innocent people.

One day, Hada had a near-death experience when he got almost drowned.  At that time he saw his dead parents and brother near a river.  He wanted to be with them, but they didn't let him.  Ever since then, Hada regretted what he had done and changed.  He started donating his money to charities, especially those organizations for crime victims.  He became sympathetic to those who were conned and blamed those who deceive innocent people.

That seems to have led to his bus-jacking.  However, it is not clear why he named the 3 individuals who were high-ranking members of the Nissho Frontier.

Sugimura and Tejima gets info.
Our guy, Sugimura finds whereabouts of one of those three.  His colleague, Tejima goes to see her.  She tries to ignore him.  She doesn't seem to regret what she's done to so many people.

Sugimura seem to care more about his wife than finding the truth about the bus-jacking.  He tries to avoid Mano Kyouko.

As for Mrs. Sugimura, she often thinks about Hashimoto, a secretary to her dad.  Hashimoto and her dad are now visiting the U.S.   Hashimoto calls her cellphone, but the call is first answered by her sister-in-law.

Sakamoto and Mano
Mano goes to the area where the bus-jacking took place.  She is to deliver manuscripts for her work.  On her way back, she meets Sakamoto Kei, one of the hostages of the bus-jacking.  They get on a bus together.  When the bus stops at an intersection where the bus-jacking started,  Sakamoto stands up and walks to the driver with a knife.  He is now a bus-jacker.
