Some people claim Motoko (played by Hirosue Ryouko) is evil. Some others claim she's a saint. Who is she?
She's now behind bars. Haruki (played by Nagayama Kento) is her defense lawyer. She's his first love. He still carries a special sentiment for her.

Haruki is in Motoko's defense team. In order to get more information on Motoko, he and his colleague go to Kita Kyu'ushu where Motoko grew up. They meet people who knew Motoko and her mother, but nobody talks good things about them.
After her mother died, she lived with a family, her relatives, but it didn't go well. The father peeped at Motoko when she was taking a bath. The mother hated Motoko. Motoko extorted money from the father.
To her classmates, Motoko said she wanted to go to college in Tokyo to be a respectable person like a physician, a lawyer, etc. She boasted that her dead parents were physicians, and have a relative who is an executive at a bank.
Throughout her childhood, she was obsessed with money, and had a great self-pride. In fact, that's how she's been living until today.
Haruki meets a priest in church. He says Motoko wanted to be like Saint Praxedis so he encouraged her to pray. 10 years ago he saw her. She told him she was unable to be like Saint Praxedis. She was baptized in his church and left the town.
Chikura (played by O'otani Ryousuke) wakes up from coma. He is said to be Motoko's 3rd victim. He claims Motoko did nothing wrong, she did not start the fire.
Motoko tells him she felt like she was a saint only when she was with him. She admits she had/has a feeling for him.
