Seijo Ep.1 & 2

Is she "Seijo 聖女" (a holy woman) or "Akujo 悪女" (an evil woman)?  That is the question.

She looks pure-hearted in front of Katsuki, telling him he's the only man she truly loved.  However, what she's done to many other men makes her look like she's a swindler, sucking money and possibly, life out of them.

Haruki (played by Nagayama Kento) is a high school student who doesn't know what to do with his life nor have interest in studying.  His parents hire a private tutor, Naitou Akane (played by Hirosue Ryouko), a college student.  

She encourages him to study hard, saying "You can be what you want to be if you study hard".  She also says, "You become a student at Tokyo University, and make me your lover, won't you?"  Haruki starts to study more and get good grades.  

She tells Haruki that her real name is Ozawa Maria, and that Naitou Akane was her class mate in her college.

Haruki falls in love with Maria, and confesses his feeling.  With tears in her eyes, she also tells him that she likes him.  That was the last day he saw her.  She disappears suddenly.  

Haruki looks for her everywhere and learns that she didn't go to the same college as Naitou Akane.

Haruki pass the entrance exam to Tokyo University.

Now, 10 years after her disappearance, Haruki is a lawyer working at a small law office.  He has a fiancée, Izumi (played by Renbutsu Misako) who is a nurse.  They plan to marry soon.

One day he sees Maria on TV.  She's arrested as a swindler who took money and possibly, life, away from men.  Her name is now Hiji'i Motoko.

Motoko fires her lawyers and hires Haruki's office to defend her.  At first, Haruki pretends not to know her, but it doesn't last long.  Haruki admits he had known her, and asks to be in the defense team. 

Motoko doesn't say much about her cases.  She insists that meeting rich men and living on their money was her style of love/affairs, and that she never killed them.

Haruki has an older brother Katsuki who also graduated from Tokyo University.  He is now unemployed, and stays in his room all day at their parents' house.  Somehow, he follows Motoko's cases on Internet to the point of "obsession".  

After knowing that Haruki joined the defense team for Motoko, Izumi is feeling unsecure.  She seems to sense that Haruki has a special feeling for Motoko.
