New Summer J-drama (3): Kodoku no Gurume 4 Ep.1

Kodoku no Gurume Season 4 has just started.  It's the same actor, music and format again.  This week Gorou-san went to a diner in Kiyose, a north-western part of Tokyo, on the Seibu Ikebukuro line.

He had  meat (pork, I think) and mung-bean sprouts spicy stir-fry (Pic 3), steamed rice, miso soup, garlic with miso and green chili (Pic 4), jumbo gyoza half size (Pic 2), and grilled chicken on a stick.  The stir-fry dish also had shredded carrots and nira (Chinese chives).

The menu on the wall had so many dishes, and each dish was very cheap with a big serving.  I wondered those were cheaper than same ones packed and sold in stores.

The veggies in the stir-fry dish were crisp - a sign that they were not over stir-fried.  As always, Gorou-san ordered the right combination of dishes.  As always, I was surprised to see how much he ate for lunch.  I personally have light meal for my lunch.

FYI:  Here's a recipe of spicy stir-fry.  Use Google Translate if you want it in English.
Although this one doesn't have green chili, garlic with miso can be made using this recipe.
