Kazoku Gari Ep.8

The end is near, and we're seeing things and their connections more clearly.  The whole picture is not there, yet, but we're beginning to see what the "Revitalization of family" refers to or what "termites" signifies.

Komada with a knife

Komada, a termite-control worker whose beloved daughter was taken away from him by Hizaki Yu'uko, the case worker enters the case worker's house late at night with a knife to kill everyone there.  When he was about to kill the case worker's mother, the case worker comes home and find him.  Komada is beaten by the case worker's father and runs away.  Knowing why Komada did such a horrendous act, the case worker asks the police to handle it as a light case.  The police refuses as it is an attempt murder case.  

The case worker and the art teacher decide to find Komada before the police captures him.  They learns that Komada got the termite control job through Yamaga Youko who is Hizaki Yu'uko's colleague.

The art teacher receives a phone message from Yoshizawa Ai, the female student who's been acting against her teachers and parents.  "I may turn into a person like Sanemori Yu'uji," was her message.  Sanemori Yu'uji was the violent boy who was found dead with his parents in their house.  Yamaga Youko knew the termite control guy who ran the business.

The art teacher runs to Ai's house, and see Hizaki Yu'uko's colleague, Yamaga Youko, another case worker on family/child welfare cases.  Ai's mother tells the art teacher to leave, but lets Yamaga Youko into the house.  Yamaga encourages Ai's parents to revitalize their family.

Ai uses her father's laptop and sends out her father's confidential documents to people who are involved in father's work.  The father now wants to run away from Ai and his wife.

Mamihara, the detective

As for the police detective, Mamihara, his lover's son who was beaten by the lover's Yakuza husband is now in the hospital.  The Yakuza husband calls Mamihara and they decide to meet.  Mamihara goes to the place for the meeting, there he and the Yakuza husband shoots their guns.  When Mamihara finds a dead body of a man he knew, the police comes in and arrests Mamihara.  He is framed for murder.  Mamihara suspects someone inside the police is involved in this frame-up.

Mamihara's lover decide to face her Yakuza husband.  When the husband assaults her, Mamihara's partner shows up and tries to arrest the husband.  However, he is shot by the husband.  She holds her knife again and stabs her husband.

The police finds Komada's dead body.  He seems to have committed a suicide.  His suicide note to his daughter is found in which he wrote, "I'm going to wait for you in the other world with your mom."  The case worker, Hizaki Yu'uko finds it strange as the mother of the kid is alive somewhere.  She suspects someone who doesn't know Komada tried to tell the daughter about his murderer.

One night Hizaki Yu'uko goes to visit the termite control guy's house.  She happens to find that his house is next to her colleague, Yamaga's house.  What does this mean?  Is there a connection between the termite guy and Yamaga?  Are they the murderers of broken families?????
