Kazoku Gari Ep.4

Story is progressing.  However, we can't tell how things are going to turn out or what this drama is all about.

The art teacher ends up in a hospital after a brawl in a park with teenager boys who set fire on a homeless man.  Although the teacher's injury and burn were not serious, he loses his memory temporarily.  He murmurs the case worker's name repeatedly, but can't remember his pregnant girlfriend.  

Later his memory slowly comes back.  He has a heart-to-heart talk with his girlfriend.  He questions whether she is faking her pregnancy, and she admits he's right.  Thanking her for being honest, he proses her for marriage.  She agrees with a hesitation.  She remembers that he said he was not sure about family as a system/an institution, or if people need to have a family.

The detective's affair is now known to his wife and the abusive Yakuza husband of his lover.  The abusive husband declares that he would destroy the detective's family.  The lover and her son runs away, but their location is soon discovered by her husband.

The case worker loses her job as an abusive father whose case was handled by the case worker is going to sue her/her office for making him unable to see his daughter.

 Two more families of male and female students of the school where art teacher and his girlfriend works are shown.  The male student throws things in his house, making his mother calls the art teacher's girlfriend.  The girlfriend doesn't answer the phone, saying she's no longer in charge of that student.  The art teacher, on the other hand, is very concerned as a teacher.

The female student was in the art teacher's class.  She refuses to come out of her room.  When her father forces into her room, she stabs him.  Blood gushes out...
