Yoshiwara Uradoushin

Just watched this drama. Yoshiwara (a red-light district in Edo/Tokyo) scenes reminded me of Miotsukushi Ryouri Chou.   This is a "木曜時代劇" series.  "木曜" means Thursday.  As for "時代劇", please check this page.  On an official NHK World English page, it is described as Thursday Samurai drama.

While watching this drama, a word came up to my head.  It is "Cham-ba-ra （ちゃんばら）".  Cham-ba-ra is translated as sword-fighting, but actually, my idea of cham-ba-ra is not a serious sword-fighting.  It's something silly and a bit funny. 

As for the drama, I'll watch the 2nd episode if I have time.
