New Subs: Chicken Race [SP]

I just finished new subs and uploaded them on d-addicts

This is a story of friendship between 64-year-old man who just woke up from his 45-year-long sleep, and his nurse whom the old man calls "my best friend".

They both have relation, family and life issues, but the two help each other and start new chapters of their lives.

This drama was broadcasted in Nov. 2013 on WOWOW.

Wonderful Days: Still keeping great rating

This drama is getting the highest rating among the weekend dramas.  Today's rating was 25.1% followed by;
  2. Jeong Jun Do (19.0%) Final Episode
  3. Come! Jang Bo Ri (16.3%)
  4. Hotel King (9.9%)
  5. Endless Love (8.3%)
  6. Glorious Days (6.8%)

This is 50-episode long, and 38 episodes were shown so far.  I've been watching and can't believe I'm still following it.  I have never watched such a long drama series.  The story is not a flashy one.  It is a family drama, showing ups and downs, dark and bright sides of a multi-generational, multi-family household.

Park Yong Ha:4th Anniversary

Taiga 2016: Sakai Masato

So, Sakai Masato will play the leading role in Sanadamaru.  The drama is written by Mitani Kouki.  I'm not a big fan of Taiga drama.  The last Taiga that I fully watched was "Gou" in 2011.

What I'm concerned is that if this news on Sakai Masato mean that there will be no Hanzawa Naoki 2.  I loved the series.

Time Spiral (Gackt and Meisa)

This is a new drama on BS Premium starting in September, starring Kuroki Meisa and Gackt.  She is a student/researcher(?).  He is a physics professor and "lonely" time traveler.  They are "fated" to be together.

I'm waiting.

Yoshiwara Uradoushin

Just watched this drama. Yoshiwara (a red-light district in Edo/Tokyo) scenes reminded me of Miotsukushi Ryouri Chou.   This is a "木曜時代劇" series.  "木曜" means Thursday.  As for "時代劇", please check this page.  On an official NHK World English page, it is described as Thursday Samurai drama.

While watching this drama, a word came up to my head.  It is "Cham-ba-ra (ちゃんばら)".  Cham-ba-ra is translated as sword-fighting, but actually, my idea of cham-ba-ra is not a serious sword-fighting.  It's something silly and a bit funny.

As for the drama, I'll watch the 2nd episode if I have time.

It's Okay, That's Love

I'm looking forward to watching this drama.
